Discipleship Housing Communities are groups of believers committed to living as the church. Beginning with the model from the Acts chapter 2, they open their homes to each other, pursue evangelism, and share life’s joys and struggles.

Like treasures stored in jars of clay, house churches are free to focus on the purposes that God has for them rather than the technical and logistical challenges most churches with buildings must deal with. House churches remind their community that the church is made of the people who pursue Christ, his teachings, and his Spirit.

Intentional Gatherings supports these communities by connecting houses with house sponsors.  Members of these discipleship houses live on mission in their neighborhoods and workplaces. We believe by financially supporting the community house rent, we can lift a financial burden that will allow greater focus on what really matters — sharing the Gospel and seeing lives transformed.
